Last night UFC 229 took place in Las Vegas and it proved to be one of the most shocking events in MMA history.
In the conclusion to the highly anticipated lightweight title fight between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov, all hell broke loose as a mass brawl began in the Octagon between members of Khabib's team and McGregor.
Prior to the fight and the melee afterwards, McGregor found himself an unlikely supporter in the form of Canadian rapper Drake who showed up at the weigh-in draped in an Irish flag and it was a little weird.
These images immediately saw Drake mocked for aligning himself with McGregor, with many accusing him of jumping on a bandwagon.
That was on Friday when things were all rosy for Drake and McGregor but after Saturday's fight, things looked a little different for the pair.
As the ruckus broke out an image of a petrified looking Drake started to circulate on social media, with many claiming that he was scared when Khabib decided to jump the cage.
This is all very funny on the surface but a simple Google Image search will reveal that this isn't actually from last nights fight at all.
It was actually from April 2017 when Drake attended a Travis Scott concert in Portland, Oregon.
Also, Drake played a concert in the MGM Grand on the same evening so it's unlikely that he was in attendance for the fight and even streamed the event before his concert.
Still, despite the evidence, it didn't stop the memes from flooding in and in all fairness, they are quite amusing.
Still, at least he was safe.
