Coleen Rooney makes brilliant David De Gea joke without even realising it

It emerged today that Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea's proposed £29million move to Real Madrid had collapsed because paperwork was submitted a minute after the Spanish transfer window closed at midnight local time.

It's not certain which party is to blame for the move faltering, and there is still a chance Real could appeal to Fifa to get the transfer pushed through.

With impeccable comic timing, however, Coleen Rooney, wife of England and Manchester United captain Wayne, tweeted this on Tuesday morning:
