The American pop-punk band has agreed to change the name of one of their songs after a fan accidentally had a tattoo of the song’s title misspelt.
Waterparks fan named Clancy recently got a tattoo of the band’s song ‘See You In The Future.’
However, Clancy’s tattoo artist completely botched the inking and instead tattooed on her arm “SEE YOU IN IN THE FUTURE.”
Clancy shared the embarassing tattoo on Twitter tagging the band and their lead singer Awsten Knight in the hopes of grabbing their attention.
Y’ALL MY ARTIST PUT “SEE YOU IN IN THE FUTURE!”😖🤦🏻♀️ @awsten @waterparks https://t.co/8K2oUZ60mI— Clancy (@Clancy) 1635461958
Lo and behold it worked and not only did Knight respond he announced that the band was changing the name of the song in solidarity with Clancy.
