It seems hard to fathom but the original Toy Story was released 27 years ago and next year we will see the fourth and possibly final instalment of the franchise, with Toy Story 4.
If you cast your mind back to 2010 when Toy Story 3 was released you may recall fighting back the tears in the cinema as (spoiler) Andy said goodbye to all of his toys.
That was a pretty brutal ordeal and to be honest, we're not entirely sure how we got through it. So, surely the next film will be a joyous affair full of laughter and happiness.
That's definitely what the trailer suggested anyway.
Well, you can put those ideas to bed as Tim Allen, aka Buzz Lightyear, has hinted that the new film is a real heartbreaker, which even he struggled to get through.
The actor appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where he gave some insight about what viewers can expect to see when the movie is released next year.
Allen told Fallon that he got choked up reading the script in the recording studio, especially the final moments, which he compared to the iconic conclusion to Gone With the Wind.
The last scene of that movie was... I couldn't even get through it.
And I thought there was pages after it.
And I read it, and I had to turn around from looking at it in studio. It was so emotional.
Oh crikey. Best bring a pack of tissues to the cinema with you as it sounds like there won't be a dry eye in the house.
Allen did add that the film has a "wonderful plot" and that even Keanu Reeves has a role in the film which briefly sent the internet giddy because let's be honest, who doesn't love Keanu?
You can view part of Jimmy Fallon's interview with Tim Allen in the video below.
Toy Story 4 is due to be released in June 2019.
