Stormzy goes viral after getting Glastonbury crowd to shout 'f**k Boris' during his headline performance

UK grime star Stormzy became the first black British artist to headline Glastonbury on Friday evening and he marked the occasion with series of political statements against the government.

The 25-year-old started his set by sampling a speech from Labour MP David Lammy, talking about the prejudices and injustice's that young black people face in the UK on a daily basis, before launching into his song 'Know Me From'.

Wearing a stab proof vest with a Union Jack emblazoned upon it, his landmark performance also saw appearances from fellow rappers Dave and Fredo, as well as Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.

However, the most talked about moment of his entire set was during his hit single 'Vossi Bop' which features the lyrics 'f**k the government and f**k Boris'.

Stormzy, rather than sing the lyrics himself, got the Glastonbury crowd to sing it instead and it immediately became an iconic viral moment that set the internet into meltdown.

The Boris Johnson insults didn't end there as he would later tell the Tory leadership frontrunner to 'suck your mum' during his performance of 'Cold'.

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn also shared a segment of Stormzy's set which included two black ballet dancers.

Beyond the swearing, people were quick to hail the performance as iconic and a historical moment for black people in Britain.
