As of the release of The Rise of Skywalker in 2019, there are nine films in the Star Wars saga (not including spin-off) but have you ever stopped to think about the names of the films and if they are correct?
Well, if a viral video is anything to go by then every single one of these films has been given the wrong name, right from the very beginning.
Spoiler warning: Every single Star Wars film is about to be ruined in more ways than one.
A TikTok user who goes by the name @fake.disney.facts has explained in less than 60 seconds why the names of the films, from The Phantom Menace to the Rise of Skywalker are in completely the wrong order and you know what, it kinda makes sense.
As he explains, the plots of the nine movies don't really resonate with the names of the films, whereas they do elsewhere in the saga. Confused? Just watch the video and you'll see what he's getting at.
Makes sense doesn't it? Just to recap what he said, this is the order that he believes the names should go in.
Episode I: The Rise of Skywalker
Episode II: Revenge of the Sith
Episode III: Attack of the Clones
Episode IV: Return of the Jedi
Episode V: The Force Awakens
Episode VI: The Last Jedi
Episode VII: The Empire Strikes Back
Episode VIII: A New Hope
Episode IX: The Phantom Menace
It's hard to argue with any of these and judging by reactions on TikTok, people agree with him.
The clip which has been viewed more than 3 million times on TikTok and has since made its way on to Twitter but people don't agree as much.
