Just in case you thought 2020 couldn’t get any creepier (or funnier?) Spitting Image has revealed its Prince Andrew, Boris Johnson and Dominic Cummings puppets ahead of the show's return.

It’s time for the dummies, the kind that eerily resembles famous faces, to have their shine yet again.

The PM’s key adviser, Mr. Cummings, is seen in his trademark hoodie with an over the top silver collar while Mr. Johnson's puppet has a bunch of unkept spiky blonde hair.

Meanwhile, a not-so-happy Duke of York is dressed in a tartan coat complete with a paisley neckerchief in time for the satirical series.

Since the unveiling of the images, people have commented on how spot on the messy caricatures looks.

Spitting Image has historically attracted 15 million viewers and ran for 18 seasons between 1984 and 1996 and is coming back later this year on BritBox, the streaming service launched by the BBC and ITV.

The trio won’t be the only one getting the puppet treatment. What is a satirical TV show without the use of Donald Trump? Of course, POTUS will get a cameo.

Also showing are the faces is Beyonce, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Vladimir Putin, Bernie Sanders, Elon Musk, RuPaul, Adele and James Corden.

This will be the first original commission announced by BritBox UK, who have managed to get the show's original co-creator Roger Law back on board.

Many people will remember that the show famously featured Margaret Thatcher in a man's suit treating her cabinet - "the vegetables" - badly. They also depicted her death and funeral in an episode in the past.

We are just going to have to wait to see how ‘badly’ the PM and Mr Cummings behave. It’s not like 2020 hasn’t given showrunners a lot of content to work with ….
