Ariana Grande's fiance Pete Davidson is under fire for a joke he allegedly made about the Manchester bombing.
The 24-year-old actor and comedian reportedly made the gag during a stand-up routine in Los Angeles, just months after Grande tweeted she was "broken" when a suicide bomber killed 22 people after one of her concerts last year, reports The Mirror .
Davidson, whose firefighter father died in the 2001 Twin Towers attack, reportedly said that people must realise how famous she has become because "Britney Spears didn't have a terrorist attack at her concert".
He made the alleged joke before he met the 25-year-old singer.
Charlotte Hodgson, whose 15-year-old daughter Olivia Campbell-Hardy was murdered in the tragedy, told The Mirror:
For anyone to joke about this situation is disgusting and I think he should publicly apologise for it.
The families will find it equally as disgusting.
We don’t need jokes about it, there have been plenty around, and it’s heartbreaking to hear every day.
But for someone so famous to be doing it and now to be with Ariana, it’s outrageous. I think she would be horrified too.
Jade Clough, who survived the arena attack, said she was "shocked" by the joke.
The 30-year-old, who suffered nerve damage after a bold severed tendons in her foot and had therapy for mental anguish, told the publication:
I think it’s absolutely disgusting, I’m shocked.
This isn’t something to joke about, it was a terrorist attack targeted at children. You don’t joke about things like that in a stand-up comedy show.
I’m still suffering on a daily basis, I still have nightmares, and Ariana herself has suffered from PTSD. What the hell?
Davidson's comedy trademark is 'bad taste', but the joke reportedly fell flat at the Laugh Factory, LA five months after the attack. One onlooker told the outlet:
It drew gasps from the crowd and everyone squirmed in their seats, the event five months earlier was still pretty fresh, and there were plenty of British tourists in the crowd.

Grande has a worker bee - a symbol of Manchester and its industrial past - tattooed behind her ear in tribute to victims, and returned to the city weeks after the attack for a charity concert.
She met Davidson when she appeared on Saturday Night Live, which he is cast member of.
The pair split from previous partners and announced their engagement last month.
Davidson has reportedly declined to comment on the joke, but sources close to him told The Mirror his set "received a standing ovation".
indy100 has contacted representatives for Pete Davidson for comment.
