If you are a child of a certain age, then many of your Saturday mornings would have been spent watching Marvel and DC superhero cartoons.
Animated series of Batman and Spider-Man were incredibly popular in their day but even they weren't quite as iconic as the X-Men show which ran on Fox Kids from 1992 until 1997 but is now available on Disney +.
The series was beloved by kids and widely praised for capturing the spirit of the comics and bringing characters like Wolverine, Cyclops, Rogue, Storm, Jean Grey and Gambit to life.
However, arguably the most memorable part of the entire show was its iconic theme tune, which will probably go down in history as one of the all-time great opening credits to any show.
It's unlikely that anyone had ever wanted to hear a rendition of the theme on eight cellos but that's exactly what cellist Samara Ginsberg has provided us with and of course, it's awesome.
I had A LOT of requests for this one! X-Men: The Animated Series https://t.co/D1W5TAAs0I— Samara Ginsberg (@Samara Ginsberg) 1597756947
The clip has already been viewed more than 2 million times on Twitter and its safe to say that Marvel fans are loving it.

This isn't the only iconic TV theme that Ginsberg has recreated on cellos. She has already created new spins for the likes of Thundercats, Duck Tales, Teenage Mutant Ninja TurtlesandAirwolf.
