It appears Logan Paul hasn’t learned his lesson – the last time he tried to “raise awareness” about a forest, he went viral for stupidly filming a dead body in Japan’s Aokigahara forest.
On Wednesday, the 24-year-old YouTuber tweeted a photo of the Brazilian forest fires, asking how he personally could help with the situation.
“Amazon rainforest: how can I help? need advice on how I can actually make a change here; these pictures are breaking my heart,” he wrote.
This is one of the most important ecosystems on earth. is there a fundraiser, a call to action, anything i can leverage my audience for on this?
Now, after his big scare of nearly being cancelled for filming an actual dead body like an insensitive idiot, there is every chance he’s actually appreciating his second chance at life and trying to heal the world.
Still, his plea got a fair amount of backlash. One said, “We all know what happened last time you went into a forest,” while another begged him not to actually go himself. You know, just in case.
Some offered helpful solutions, while others begged his detractors to stop bringing up his “mistakes”.
Undeterred, Paul promises that he and his team are coming up with “creative solutions”.
