Lil Nas X played Rihanna a sneak peak of his new single and her reaction was perfect

If anyone is worried that Lil Nas X’s next single won’t live up to the hype, you can put your fears to rest. Rihanna just gave her seal of approval.

In a video chat conversation shared by the ‘Old Town Road’ singer on Twitter, Rihanna compliments Nas X on his upcoming single. “I heard a clip of your new song the other day,” she said. “Banging.”

Nas X was clearly ecstatic, cheering and looking in disbelief before confessing that he was immediately going to post their conversation.

Rihanna continued:

I’m not just saying that, honest to God, I’m not just saying that. I’m so glad because you came so strong in the beginning. That gets tricky, like, where do you go next? But you’re killing it, I’m happy for you.

Earlier this month, Lil Nas X tweeted a teaser of his highly anticipated new song,‘Call Me By Your Name’.

Fans loved the interaction, pointing out how adorable Nas X’s reaction was.

Naturally, though fans were happy to see Rihanna support Nas X, she still can’t escape the calls for new music.

This isn’t the first time Rihanna has taken Nas X under her wing. This month, it was revealed that Nas X is one of the new faces of Rihanna’s Fenty skincare line after he openly shared his struggles with acne.
