Someone tried to mock Lana Del Rey for taking a commercial flight and her fans weren't happy

Being a celebrity sounds exhausting.

Sure, money must be nice, but having people watching your every move, both online and in person, must take a toll.

Music icon Lana Del Rey found this out the hard way when she was photographed during a recent flight with her boyfriend Sean Larkin.

Photographs of the singer were posted to Twitter, with one person even appearing to mock the singer for flying a commercial flight in economy class.

Lyrics from Del Rey’s songs were used to insinuate that, just because she’s not chartering a private jet, she’s not rich or successful.

But Del Rey’s fans were quick to have her back.

After all, shouldn’t we be encouraging wealthy people to cut back on private flights? Shouldn’t famous people be setting an eco-conscious example?
