Benedict Cumberbatch impersonated an otter on the Graham Norton show, because of course he did

Benedict Cumberbatch embraced his odd resemblance to otters – and his fans' adoration of the link – during his latest appearance on The Graham Norton Show.

Cumberbatch, currently promoting new film Black Mass with Johnny Depp, performed impersonations of otters to the delight of the audience and the apprehension of co-star Depp.

"Can I say one thing?" he notes. "Someone has a lot of time on their hands."

"People are like, viral pictures of me and an otter, we'll go and see the film about a viral gangster, yay," Cumberbatch dryly remarked.

The skit only went too far when Norton produced a giant teddy bear...

The bruised bear will be auctioned off from Tuesday to raise funds for the Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) appeal.
