Jessica Lange responded in a lovely way to being told people thought she looked like Caitlyn Jenner

Caitlyn Jenner revealed her female identity to the world via the cover of Vanity Fair on Monday.

The internet very quickly realised that Caitlyn, formerly known as Bruce, bears a striking resemblance to Oscar-winning American Horror Story actress Jessica Lange.

Lange was asked by The Daily Beast what she thought of the comparison. Lange hadn't seen the cover yet (and needed to have the concept of "trending on Twitter" explained first), but her response was as casual as it was heartwarming:
