It’s official.

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have called it quits. But after endless rumours, this time, it’s for real—they announced the end of their engagement and each is moving on in their own way professionally.

The couple had been together for four years, getting engaged in March 2019. They had even planned a wedding before Covid hit in early 2020, which put the ceremony on the back burner.

In March of this year, sources close to the couple had told TMZ that they split, but a day later, the couple was confirmed to be back together. A-Rod even flew to the Dominican Republic to be with JLo who was working on a movie.

The now-former couple released a joint statement to TODAY, saying the following: “We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so. We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support.”

Aww, that seems fairly amicable.
