If you’re anything like us, odds are you spent Monday morning freaking out over news that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck reportedly took a weeklong getaway together.
Lopez and Affleck began dating in 2002, and were briefly engaged before calling it quits in 2004, now it seems they may have rekindled their romance.
Dubbed “Bennifer” and considered one of Hollywood’s most memorable couples of the early aughts, the duo supposedly enjoyed a weeklong getaway in Montana last week. However, one individual who doesn’t appear to be reveling in our excitement is Lopez’s ex fiancé, Alex Rodriguez.

A source close to Lopez told E! News that the former MLB player is “saddened” over the news, especially considering the two officially called off their engagement only one month ago.
“A-Rod is shocked that J.Lo has moved on,” the source said. “He truly thought they would be able to make it work and reconnect. He has been reaching out to J.Lo trying to meet with her and she has been very short with him.”
The source also added that J.Lo is “not interested in rekindling anything with A-Rod and is done.”
After four years together, the Hustlers actress and former New York Yankees player decided to end their relationship in April. Despite rumors of a possible rekindling between the two, Jennifer and Ben were spotted hanging out together not long after.
A source close to J.Lo said the singer wants to “give it a shot with Ben,” and see where it might lead.
“They never really had closure and she has always wondered what could have been,” said the source. “The timing was never right and they were in different places until now.”
