Jamie Dornan described a ‘freaky’ letter he was sent by a fan and it’s very disturbing

It’s been a few years since the final instalment of the Fifty Shades of Grey franchise, but the fans are still as devoted as ever.

In an interview with Variety, Jamie Dornan, who portrayed the elusive entrepreneur Christian Grey, revealed that he recently received a letter from a fan that contained an extremely disturbing gift: photographs of a child. The actor goes on to explain that the fan believed the child was his:

"Someone saying that it was my kid, and my wife should know that I have this kid who’s 7 years old. I think they were trying to say that the kid was mine and Dakota Johnson’s, and we’d had this baby while we made the first Fifty Shades movie. It piqued our interest, let’s say. It was a bit freaky.Certainly not the average fan mail a celebrity would expect."

In reality, the actor has three daughters with his wife, musician Amelia Warner. No secret love children to be found.

The Fifty Shades trilogy followed the scandalous affair between Anastasia Steele (played by Dakota Johnson) and Dornan’s Christian Grey. Despite being critically panned, the series was immensely successful, earning over $1.3 billion at the global box office.

Dornan also recently came under fire from fans for his “dodgy” Irish accent, which viewers got a glimpse of in the trailer for Wild Mountain Thyme. An impressive feat considering he’s from Northern Ireland.
