A member of IHOP’s wait staff is shocked to have discovered that she turned away Adam Sandler after telling him it would be half an hour for pancakes.
Dayanna Rodas posted a video to TikTok of her, complete with the clown filter after she realised she turned away theUncut Gemsstar from the breakfast chain. At the time, she just thought it just a man and his daughter, who once heard about the wait time, immediately left.
Captioning the video, “Please come back.” highlighting that she’d love to see the comedy legend back in the restaurant.

“Normalise treating celebrities like regular people.” another TikToker wrote.
However, it is not just Dayanna who is getting kudos from the commentators, as Sandler was praised for not playing his fame card to obtain special treatment at businesses.
“The fact that he could have said ‘I’m Adam Sandler’ and didn’t is amazing,” One user said. “Most celebrities would use their status to get them places.”
Other people commented on his laid back style and how much they loved it.
“He dresses like he’s always ready to to hoop and I respect him for that.” @Mndiaye_97 wrote.
Some even quipped that they had previous experience giving him customer service and said how grounded he was, with Drew Talbot saying, “Never served a nicer person”
