In case you've been a little out of the loop and/or don't subscribe to endless marketing ploy of "awards season", it was the Grammys last night.

The Very Serious People™ out there will undoubtedly have many thoughts on how much the winners did or did not deserve their accolades, but let's be honest, we're really all just here for the memes.

It's like with every one of these events more and more ridiculous/hilarious/excellent moments will go viral. But no one can be expected to catch them all, so here's our roundup of everything you missed if you weren't glued to Twitter all evening.

JoJo won a Grammy and it was delightfully retro

We're sorry to say that it wasn't the belated recognition for 'Leave (Right Now)' that we all deserve, but rather for her work on PJ Morton's 'Say So'. (No, us neither, but Spotify it, it's quite nice.)

Either way, everyone was obsessed.

One of the Jonas brothers had spinach (or something) in his teeth and handled it brilliantly

(It was Nick, btw, the only one who's still relevant, probs because he's married to Priyanka Chopra let's be honest.)

Tyler, The Creator made a crucial point about racism in awards

"It sucks that whenever we – and I mean guys that look like me – do anything that's genre-bending or anything, they always put it in the 'rapper' or 'urban' category. And I don't like that 'urban' word – it's just a politically correct way to say the N-word."

People hard agreed.

Ariana Grande's ridiculously huge dresses divided the internet

It was all very Cinderella-meets-Carrie-Bradshaw-in-Paris and no one knew what to make of it.

And then there was... another one.

Billie Eilish won everything and people are obsessed

At only 18 she's knocked Taylor Swift off the mantel to become the youngest person ever to win the album of the year award. As if that weren't enough, she also won song of the year, record of the year, album of the year and best new artist.

She is only the second person in history – and the first woman – to win all four of the biggest awards at the Grammys.

Eilish is single-handedly giving people hope that the next generation is about to make the world a much better place. No one could get enough of her success.
