Straight white guy perfectly explains why diversity is necessary in gaming

The gaming industry has not always been the most inclusive place.

So in recent years there's been much-needed rise in the number of LGBT+ characters and people of colour on-screen.

However, some gamers needed a little chat about why this was the case.

Enter @Fightincowboy, a straight white Twitter user who laid out in no uncertain terms why greater diversity is a good thing, on a thread that manages to combine both Mario and the concept of airdropped genitals.

Needless to say, his comments were well received.
