The following article contains mild spoilers.
There are feuds, frays and fights aplenty in Game of Thrones, but a new fan theory hints at off-screen tension too.
Episode seven's high-stakes negotiations between major players Cersei Lannister, Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen left everyone on the edge of their seats.
But Bronn - played by actor Jerome Flynn - abruptly left in order to let "the fancy folks" talk without him.
Lena Headey, who plays Cersei, then entered the courtyard in a timely manner.
This trivial and quite possibly meaningless coming-and-going has sparked an elaborate theory on social media.
According to a 2014 report inThe Telegraph, Lena and Jerome used to date - and it sadly didn't end particularly well.
A crew member told the paper at the time:
Jerome and Lena aren't on speaking terms anymore and they are never in the same room at the same time
It's a pity because they appeared to have patched things up for a while, but now the word is they should be kept apart at all costs.Â
It is of course entirely possible that the two characters have no need to interact - Bronn deals with Jamie and Tyrion more often than not and has had need to engage Cersei up to now. We might end up getting through all of season 8 without the pair ever crossing paths.
