Game of Thrones grab

This is probably the worst thing to happen to Game of Thrones fans, and the best thing to happen to their spoiler loving friends.

A new website called Spoiled.io offers to “ruin Game of Thrones for your friends, automatically” for the bargain price of $0.99 (£0.78).

That’s less than the price of a Greggs chicken bake. Or a vegan roll.

The website writes: “Do your friends love Game of Thrones, but watch it after it airs? Are you a terrible friend? Great!”

For just $0.99 USD, Spoiled will anonymously and ruthlessly text spoilers to your unsuspecting friends after each new episode airs. Afterwards, sit back, relax, and view your friends’ responses.

The premise is simple. If you hate your friend want to send a spoiler to your GoT friend, you can do so by entering your friend’s number in an information box on the website, as well as the episode you want to ruin.

Then, the website sends your friend a vicious, uncompromising spoiler about the episode.

The website creators were inspired by a story of a woman who got back at her cheating ex-boyfriend by spoiling Game of Thrones for him every Monday morning.

Harsh.

Season 8 airs on HBO on Sundays starting April 14, and is the final season of Game of Thrones – so you can imagine the absolute rage such text messages will elicit from fans of the show.

Spoiled.io will also provide those who pay for the spoiling service with a link to view any responses the texts received, so true GOT sadists can bask in the spoiler based misery they've caused.

The developers of Spoiled.io, Spoiled Rotten, told Business Insider:

I don't think we'll be quitting our day jobs anytime soon, but the response has far exceeded our exceptions and made us question ways we could expand.
