Emma Corrin has quickly skyrocketed to fame for her portrayal of Princess Diana on season four of The Crown.
Despite rave reviews of her performance, Corrin is reluctant to discuss it with the late princess's sons.
Speaking to British GQ, she said:
If I ever saw them at a party, I'd probably leave!
Corrin explained that while she wouldn't want to talk about it with the princes, she is curious about what they think of her portrayal.
When asked what Princes William and Harry might make of the show, she said: "I can't imagine."
She added:
I'd be interested to know what they think.
Corrin elaborated:
I’m not going to say it doesn’t matter, because that would be ignorant. If someone made a programme about my grandma, who died last year, that would be difficult for me to watch.
The young actor also said that she thinks it is a sympathetic portrayal.
She proved her commitment to this when she revealed in an earlier interview that she had worked tirelessly to include a bulimia plot and to cover it accurately.
She sought the advice of an eating disorder charity and a also amovement coach to ensure that her performance was both sensitive and accurate.
It's not known whether Prince Harry has seen any of Corrin's Diana.
Prince William, however, hasn't tuned in. Actor Olivia Colman said on The Graham Norton Show that he doesn't watch The Crown.
