David Oyelowo has finally explained how to pronounce his name.

Brad Pitt recently led a sing-along at the Palm Springs film festival to teach the crowd how to say the Martin Luther King actor’s surname because so many people seem to be confused by it.

And now there’s even more reason never to get it wrong.

In an exclusive interview with the Independent, the British actor explained that the best way to say his surname is to put an ‘o’ either side of ‘yellow’.
