Chrissy Teigen, a celebrity with more than 13 million twitter followers, just got the one follower she was most hoping for.

As Joe Biden’s presidency got underway on Wednesday, his team worked to get his new Twitter page up and running (and surely, many people hoped it would be a different kind of social media presence than his predecessor).

But among a number of new White House officials @POTUS followed like Vice President Kamala Harris and First Lady Jill Biden, Teigen was the only celebrity among them being followed after years of being blocked by Donald Trump.

"OH MY GOD !!!!!!!!!!" Teigen tweeted, after political writer Gabe Fleisher pointed out that the "official @POTUS account now follows 11 people — all of them Biden aides or accounts, and then @chrissyteigen."

"my heart oh my god lmao I can finally see the president's tweets and they probably won't be unhinged," she wrote.

She later jokingly said, "I should prob never tweet again."

Teigen – a model, entrepreneur, and the wife of musician John Legend – has been a vocal supporter of the Biden ticket, as well as a strong critic of Trump – leading to her eventually being blocked on Twitter by the previous president. Trump called her “filthy mouthed” back in 2019.

“hello @joebiden I have been blocked by the president for four years can I get a follow plz,” Teigan tweeted earlier on Inauguration Day. And somewhat surprisingly, looks like Joe Biden, or at least his team, has some sense of humour.

(The White House Director of Digital Strategy Rob Flaherty tweeted the ‘How it started vs. How it’s going’ meme about the whole situation).

Teigen and her family also went to Washington to celebrate Biden’s inauguration on Wednesday.

"Today our great national f***-up is over, but the shame will last forever," she wrote on her Instagram Tuesday.

"We can officially say Donald J Trump is the greatest at being the f***ing worst...  History will not be kind to you, you absolute psychopath. But I never was anyhow."
