Britain’s Got Talent viewers were left concerned and confused during Wednesday’s semi-final after after an awkward blunder.

Eagle-eyed Britain’s Got Talent fans reeled after noticing that the ITV show appeared to list the wrong finalists on the board behind Ant & Dec as they revealed which contestants would be making it to Sunday’s big final.

Any & Dec gallantly went about their duties as they announced the actual winners Colin Thackery and Kojo Anim has made it through to the final stage, beating John Archer in the top 3.

The Geordie pair were apparently unaware that fellow semi-finalist Matt Sterling’s name appeared in place behind them in place of Siobhan Phillips.

Confused viewers soon took to Twitter to share the mistake.

Some fans questioned whether the pianist and comedian had pulled out. Thankfully, Simon Cowell was quick to put that rumour to bed.

Appearing on Britain’s Got More Talent, Cowell told host Stephen Mulhern that the incorrect information had been revealed.

Britain’s Got Talent airs all this week live on ITV at 7:30pm. Colin Thackery and Kojo Ani will join Dave & Finn, 4MG, Flakefleet Primary School and Siobhan Phillips in Sunday’s final show.
