Alec Baldwin is now under fire for taking credit for Joe Biden’s victory against Donald Trump.
The comedian and actor has long been praised for his masterful impressions of Trump on Saturday Night Live.
But, this weekend, he drew the ire of SNL viewers for holding a “cringe-inducing” sign.
On Saturday night, Dave Chappelle closed the show by thanking those involved.
Maya Rudolph held up a sign wishing her daughter Lucy a happy birthday.
Meanwhile, Baldwin’s sign read: “YOU’RE WELCOME!!!”
People were struck by the arrogance of the actor appearing to take credit for the election victory.
Baldwin has practically confirmed that he'll no longer be playing Trump in future SNL shows.
He remarked on Twitter that he is "overjoyed" to "lose a job".
He's not the only one who will be "overjoyed" if those tweets are anything to go by.
