Adele talking about the self-help book that 'changed her life' has become a hilarious meme

Adele’s latest book recommendation has become a new meme format and the results are absolutely hilarious.

It all started when the 'Hello' singer went on Instagram on Saturday to post about Glennon Doyle’s memoir Untamed, which wasreleased in March.

In the caption to the photo, she praised that the book will “shake your brain and make your soul scream”.

Adele added:

Read this book and have a highlighter on hand to make notes because you’ll want to refer back to it trust me! I never knew that I am solely responsible for my own joy, happiness and freedom!! Who knew our own liberation liberates those around us? Cause I didn’t!! I thought we were meant to be stressed and disheveled, confused and selfless like a Disney character!

Adele’s book recommendation made headlines across the world, but a lot of publications tried to tease out the headline to get people to read the story.

One such publication was the Daily Mirror, who wrote the headline:

Then someone took a photo or screenshot of it and made a new meme format – the screenshot on one side and a book that’s not at all like Glennon Doyle’s “soul-screaming” memoir at all. In most cases it's a book that couldn't be further from a serious self-help book.

And the results were completely ridiculous.
