Apple is reportedly developing a new larger version of the iPad for release next year.
Bloomberg claims the 12.9in model, targeted at business users, would have a screen that measures 12.9in diagonally across, which is more akin to a laptop.
Previous generations of the iPad have all had a screen size of 9.7in, with the only Apple tablet to break the chain the 7.9in iPad mini.
The reported larger screen could represent a new direction for Apple, with both versions of the new iPhone 6 expected to have screens of 4.7in and 5.5in - both larger than the 4in iPhone 5S.
