Ukip's website went down on Tuesday morning to be replaced by the type of holding page that appears when a domain name's registration has lapsed.
However, the records for the party's website on DomainTools shows that the domain is not due to expire until March 2016. So perhaps something else is at play?
Mysteriously there is also an "updated" date which shows something happened to the website at 9.52am today.
A Ukip spokesperson told The Independent that they are aware of the problem and are looking into it.
More as we get it.
