Twitter's verdict on #thedress

We see white and gold and we don't care what anyone else has to say about it.

But according to an analysis of Twitter via Topsy, most people are tweeting about the hashtag #whiteandgold and #goldandwhite rather than under the hashtags #blackandblue and #blueandblack.

Meanwhile on Buzzfeed, 72 per cent of people who took their poll (that's 1.3m people) say the dress is white and gold.

In real life, the dress is apparently blue and black and the reason people are so divided about the issue is due to differences in the way the eye processes colour. Still..
