Google, the top website in the world according to Alexa rankings, receives 28 billion visits a month.
This means it takes the number one traffic spot, of 1.1 billion websites on the internet.
Second placed is YouTube, which gathers 20.5 billion visits a month.
Vodien, a Singapore-based hosting provider, has gathered the 100 top websites on Alexa and colour coded them by sector.
The resulting graphic is a fairly comprehensive map of the mainstream internet:

Google obviously featured highly.
Our partner website, the Independent, currently ranks 468th globally and 244th in the United States.
Meanwhile indy100.com ranks 5,478th globally and 3,133rd in the United States.
Our top keyword is Justin Trudeau, which accounts for 4.88 per cent of our search traffic.
