It's one of the most well-recognised signs in the world.
But now US-based tech company Axosoft has reimagined the symbol for women's toilets as part of a new campaign to get more females involved in industries such as science, technology and politics. And it's a tweak you can't unsee.
The point of the it was never a dress campaign is simple: "Through storytelling, community building, innovation and creative disruptions, It Was Never a Dress will foster necessary conversations, vital voices, and images from around the world that honour ALL women".
When we see women differently... we see the world differently!
The campaign went viral after being featured at Arizona's Girls in Tech conference, which Axosoft sponsored.
