This is why it looks like there's a giant eye on Jupiter

This picture of Jupiter in the midst of a cyclone storm looks uncannily like the planet has developed a huge "eye".

Nasa, which captured the image using the Hubble telescope, said a shadow of one of the planet's moons sweeping across the centre of the storm gave it the appearance of a pupil. The storm in Jupiter's Great Red Spot is 10,000 miles wide - bigger than the whole of Earth, which is 7,917 miles wide.

"For a moment, Jupiter 'stared' back at Hubble like a one-eyed giant Cyclops," Nasa said.
