Maybe bigger isn't better, as the two countries with the fastest broadband speeds are actually too small to see on the map; Singapore (104.25 Mbps in terms of download speeds) and Hong Kong (96.38Mbs, and, yes, also not a country).
The UK languishes with download speeds of 29.45Mbps, far below Europe's surprise pace-setter Romania, which has almost double at 59.96Mbps, but still ahead of the global average of 22.1Mbps.
At the other end of the broadband spectrum is Benin, where speeds are 1.08Mbps.
