Man trapped under truck screams 'call 911', Siri actually does call

Siri has been hailed as a life-saver for calling 911 after hearing the cries of its owner pinned under a truck.

Sam Ray, of Tennessee, told of the moment the vehicle fell on him while he was repairing it.

The jack collapsed, pinning him where he couldn't be seen or heard. He said he was trying to struggle free when he heard Siri activate on his iPhone.

"I said 'Call 911,' and that was all I said."

Christina Lee, who took the call, says she first thought it was a mistaken pocket-dial, but then she heard his screams for help and sent crews, who rescued him.
