Kim Kardashian was a guest speaker at a tech conference

When thinking of guest speakers to book at a tech conference, Kim Kardashian West's name might not immediately spring to mind.

But the reality TV star has a massive social media presence (Twitter: 24.8m followers, 20m on Instagram and 23.8m likes on Facebook) and a hugely-successful/controversial app.

Here's what we learned from her Q&A with Re/code founder Kara Swisher at the website's Code/Mobile conference in California yesterday.

Twitter is her Google

"I would just get on Twitter and say, 'Does anyone know where to go eat in this city?' ... It’s just an amazing focus group."

Instagram is her favourite social site

"You can be really creative, and a little more intimate."

Believe it or not, she has a "three-image rule"

As in, don't post more than three pictures online from the same location
