Is Uber taking British customers for a ride?

Uber customers in the UK could be paying over the odds compared to other countries.

An analysis by the Times found that the average cheapest fare for a ten-minute ride in the UK was ten per cent higher than in Europe, and 27 per cent more than in the US.

New York is still on average more expensive that London however for an Uber trip.

The Times gathered the data by looking at the cheapest fare information listed for over 300 locations on Uber's website.
