In 'the worst news ever if you're a social media manager' or you know, a person in the 21st Century - Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp have all gone down simultaneously, and it goes without saying that people are losing it.
According to The Mirror, the errors began to start at approximately 14:49 on Wednesday afternoon and are mainly affecting people across the east coast of the United States, and the United Kingdom, however, they're also causing issues in Europe, South America, and East Asia.
The reason for the outage is still unclear, however, 82 per cent of people who reported an error with Instagram said they couldn't access their newsfeed, 11 per cent with the website, and six per cent with their login, reports the Mirror.
Many people have taken to Twitter in order to vent their frustrations, and it has to be said, the memes are hilarious.
Some people simply noted that the apps seemed to have gone down.
Others took to Twitter, instead...
Twitter is having its moment!
Spare a thought for all the social media managers out there, people...
Millennial offices be like...
It's an emergency, lads!
Lord, give us strength!
Imagine if... Twitter went down, too!?
Last time all three apps had an outage, it lasted a number of hours, later blaming it on a server issue that had a knock-on effect on Instagram and WhatsApp, as well as Facebook. In a statement on Twitter after the outage occurred, Facebook said:
As a result of a server configuration change, many people had trouble accessing our apps and services.
We've now resolved the issues and our systems are recovering. We’re very sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate everyone’s patience.
