Fortnite and Elon Musk have struck an odd rivalry after the South African philanthropist trolled the free online video game.
If you are unaware of Fortnite, it's a multiplayer online survival game that is very popular with young people.
Despite being a bit of a nerd with the humour of a teenage boy, it seems Musk isn't a fan of the game, after tweeting a fake news headline claiming that he had purchased and deleted the game entirely.
A sub-heading in the fake article quotes Musk as saying "I had to save these kids from eternal virginity".
He also followed that with the tweet caption reading "had to be done ur welcome."
Fortnite immediately clapped back and their put down was way more brutal than anything Musk had said about the game and anyone that plays it.
In their response, they linked to an Inversewhich quotes Musk, the CEO of SpaceX, as saying that the first human base on Mars will be built by 2028, which for Fortnite, is just way too much time to wait.
Musk then clapped back with this:
The back and forth prompted a whole string of responses from gamers.
However, the best response came from the popular streamer Myth, who told Mr. Musk that - thanks to Fortnite - he lost his virginity.
Unfortunately for him, he wasn't having any of it.
