In what could be the most chilling warning about sexting to this date, Edward Snowden has claimed NSA agents routinely pass around "compromising" photos of "attractive" people.
Speaking to the Guardian from Russia, he explained: "During the course of their daily work they [NSA agents] stumble upon something that is completely unrelated to their work in any sort of necessary sense – for example, an intimate nude photo of someone in a sexually compromising situation, but they're extremely attractive.
"So what do they do? They turn around in their chair and show their co-worker."
That means that the next time you want to email/skype/DM your significant other some hot pictures, you might want to consider how you would feel about an NSA agent showing them to his or her desk buddy.
In a statement to Forbes, the NSA did not confirm or deny the claims, instead saying it was a "professional foreign-intelligence organisation with a highly trained workforce, including brave and dedicated men and women from our armed forces".
