Tucker Carlson has claimed he is being spied on by the Joe Biden administration via the National Security Agency (NSA) “in an attempt to take this show off the air.”
During his show on Monday night, the Fox News host told viewers that he was contacted by a US government whistleblower.
The whistleblower apparently told him that the NSA “is monitoring our electronic communications and is planning to leak them in an attempt to take this show off the air.”
He admits that it’s “a shocking claim” and says “ordinarily we’d be skeptical of it” due the fact “it’s illegal for the NSA to spy on American citizens.”
So where is the evidences that makes him so sure this is true?

According to Carlson, “the whistleblower, who is in a position to know, repeated back to us information about a story that we are working on that could have only come directly from my texts and emails, there’s no other possible source for that information, period.”
“They did it for political reasons. The Biden administration is spying on us. We have confirmed that,” the presenter adds.
He goes to on say that “spying on opposition journalists is incompatible with democracy” and reaffirms “they are definitely doing it to us.”
Carlson continues: “This is scary and we need to stop it right away.”
Immediately after sharing this bizarre claim, people shared their skepticism and mocked Carlson.

Carlson then reveals he has filed a Freedom of Information Act request “asking for all information the NSA and other agencies gathered about this show.”
He describes it as a “formality” and has also contacted the NSA and FBI press offices.
“We don’t expect to hear much back. That’s the way that usually goes. Only Congress can force transparency on the intelligence agencies and they should do that immediately,” he said.
“Spying on opposition journalists is incompatible with democracy. They are doing it to us and again, they are definitely doing it to us, they are almost certainly doing it to others.
“This is scary and we need to stop it right away.”
