Liz Truss is the latest Tory MP to be spotted throwing some shapes in a nightclub after footage online showed her at the LGBT+ Conservative party.

The newly-appointed Foreign Secretary also serves as the Minister for Women and Equalities and is the MP for South West Norfolk.

In footage posted online, Liz Truss was seen dancing at the Cruz 101 nightclub in Manchester, the city where the party’s conference was being held.

The party was hosted by the LGBT+ Conservatives and Truss could be seen dancing to ‘Simply The Best’ by Tina Turner.

In another video, Truss was spotted dancing to Five’s 1999 single ‘If Ya Gettin’ Down’.

The presence of Truss in an LGBT+ safe space has not gone down well with many from within the community.

In April this year, the government’s LGBT+ panel, which Truss was part of, disbanded because of “fundamental disagreements” over the rights of transgender people to self identify their gender.

On Twitter, one person wrote: “I’ve stood in this same room wearing nothing but a jockstrap but this is easily the most disgusting thing to ever happen there.”

Another said: “how dare she enjoy our spaces whilst systematically attacking trans rights, perusing a dangerous culture war and reducing aid for our brothers and sisters abroad.”

Truss was not the only Conservative party member to be seen on the dancefloor, as Michael Gove and Tom Tugendhat were also filmed dancing together to a brutal rendition of Whitney Houston’s song ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’.

It follows as Michael Gove was spotted back in August dancing away in a club in Aberdeen.

The festivities didn’t stop there as the minister for work and pensions Thérèse Coffey was also filmed belting out a performance of ‘(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life’ from Dirty Dancing.

Glad they’ve got something to sing and dance about, unlike the rest of us.
