Women are sharing their stories of ridiculous men who can't do the simplest things and toxic masculinity is freaking out

If you need your daily dose of 'why are men' fodder, we've got just the thing for you.

Earlier this week, a Twitter user shared her story of peak ridiculous toxic masculinity when a man decided to cut a vegetable in half using... his bare hands.

People were amused and horrified in equal measures, and - because the internet - some stated the blindingly obvious.

The tweet quickly went viral and women followed up with equally absurd stories.

Obviously, these people were endlessly mocked.

To clarify, no one thinks *all straight men* are utter idiots, but given that women have had to put up with negative, gender-based stereotypes their entire lives, perhaps we can all calm down about a thread which pokes fun at the odd bloke for the sheer ridiculousness of their logic sometimes.
