We asked people if they knew who the Olympic diver Dan Goodfellow was after he was ignored by the newspapers

Some newspapers drew criticism earlier this week when they appeared to throw the spotlight entirely on Tom Daley.

On Day 3 of the Olympics, Daley and his partner Dan Goodfellow won the bronze medal for synchronized diving.

Hoorah.

However, some of the papers sort of missed the point about "synchronized" diving involving more than one athlete.

Goodfellow's Mum, Sharon Goodfellow became an overnight sensation on Twitter when she called on the media to rectify this.

indy100 went out onto the streets of Britain to see if anyone could recognise Goodfellow, following this poor media coverage.

Maybe if he'd had a bit more media coverage, people might have recognised him...
