A Twitter user recently wrote an appreciation message for people that work in food, calling them ‘braver than marines.’
She wrote:
Ppl that work in food are braver than the marines, I SALUTE you. Retail is hell but food…now that’s hell x100. I could never, I’d choke somebody.
Following her hat tip to servers she shared an anecdotal story about a time she was a waitress, and it's great:
Being a waitress was my worst job to this day. This one b***h complained about a milkshake that ‘wasn’t made correctly’ so I transferred the same milkshake into a different cup with a new straw and she said it was ‘much better’ lmao bye.
Others in the industry quickly followed suit...
Here are some of the best instances of customers being dumb:
1. The time someone asked if Wingstop sold wings
2. The man who said salad tasted like it came from a bag...
3. ...And another who said he didn't like the salad because it had 'too many greens'
4. The customer who didn't understand the concept of a milkshake
5. The lady who complained her food was ready too soon
6. The customer who bought a pizza, took it home, cooked it, burnt it, and asked for a refund
7. 'How many fish pieces come with this eight-piece fish meal?'
8. The customers who wanted barbecue...at a coffee shop
9. 'There was a fly in the pizza.' That, sir, would be an olive.
10. And this customer, who didn't want his food touched...even by those cooking it for him
