Thousands of people marched through Kiev for its annual pride parade, and this year attendance was higher than it had ever been before.
On Sunday, some 8,000 people turned up to celebrate pride, including politicians, foreign diplomats and Ukrainians, as well as gay, bisexual, queer and non-binary folk, among others.
Judith Gough, the British ambassador to Ukraine, was also there and celebrating, sharing a photo of herself and other ambassadors on Twitter.
The crowd was peaceful as they marched down the streets, and Reuters reports hundreds of police officers were out in force.
Ukrainians and visitors alike were dressed in colourful attire, smiled and kissed one another, and proudly held up placard with “Human rights = happy country” and “Diversity is beautiful” stamped on them.
Here are the best photos from the celebrations.
