Trump retweeted a 'fan account of his butt' and people have questions

The president of the United States of America has retweeted a fan account of his butt.

Yes, really.

We would say “Hillary warned us” but, to be honest, even Hillary couldn’t have foreseen something this weird.

Trump is known for his unhinged behaviour on Twitter. In terms of his retweets, this isn’t nearly the worst one (remember when he retweeted Britain First’s Islamophobic propaganda?)

The account, named DJT Butt, which often tweets in support of the president, describes itself as:

I am @realDonaldTrump's butt. Whatever he says, it's really me that's saying it. Follow me, or I will nuke you! #PutinPower #MAGA.

It’s unclear whether the account is a bot or not, but it certainly keeps a close eye on the president’s Twitter activity. On this occasion, the president retweeted a tweet from the account which contained a pro-Trump video from Fox News.

On Twitter, people quickly noticed that the president had retweeted his own butt. They were very confused.

We suppose this gives a new meaning to the phrase "talking out of your a**".
