Trump might just have admitted to voting to send a “proud Islamophobe” to congress.

On Saturday night, the president cast his vote.

According to Bloomberg reporter Jennifer Jacobs, Trump said he “voted straight Republican” on the ballot.

Trump voted in Florida’s 21st congressional district. This is because, In October 2019, Trump changed his primary residence from New York to his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.

By voting for all Republicans in this Florida district, it is safe to assume that he cast a vote for Laura Loomer.

Loomer isn’t your standard Republican. She has been banned from the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC|) after aggressively confronting reporters, once called herself a “proud Islamophobe” and has been banned from Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

In a particularly disgraceful moment, Loomer previously called for a ride-sharing company that did not employ Muslims. She was subsequently banned by Uber and Lyft.

Once Loomer won her primary, Trump congratulated the far-right provocateur on her victory.

The district is comfortably Democrat. In 2016, the democratic candidate won by 63 per cent to 35 per cent.

So, it’s unlikely that Trump will have the opportunity to congratulate her again.
