Kid Rock wore US flag trousers to play golf with Trump and the internet roasted him

Whilst Donald Trump awaits to hear what the finding of special counsel Robert Mueller has discovered in his investigation into potential Russian collusion, the president enjoyed some downtime.

Rather than just chilling out and watching all of season 3 of Queer Eye or hanging out with his family, Trump played a round of golf with Kid Rock, who turned up wearing 'Stars and Stripes' trousers.

In the caption, Mr Rock wrote that the POTUS was 'a great man' and 'so fun to be with!!'

After he tweeted the same message, Kid Rock found himself being ridiculed for his unusual fashion choice, which was eye-catching, to say the least and arguably not that respectful to the flag that American's claim to love.

Trump has been surprisingly quiet since Mueller handed in his investigation to US attorney general Bill Barr and on Saturday, didn't tweet once.

However, he returned to the platform on Sunday with a surprisingly humble tweet followed by the routine 'MAGA' slogan.

Still, it's nice that he has taken some time to relax. It's not like there is a 'national emergency' going on or anything like that.
